PL Mobility Limited, a Motability partner, was established by Paul Lough in 1998. We are one of the leading Scottish vehicle adaptations specialists offering a mobile and workshop service to private clients, car dealerships and Motability specialist car dealerships. We are experienced in helping people who have lost limbs, lost power in one or more limb through suffering a stroke/MS /other reasons to continue to drive. We also advise on how to meet the needs of passengers who may have difficulties getting in and out of a vehicle. We aim to deliver our installation and support service to the customer’s schedule.
We’re pleased to be able to use our expertise to advise on the suitability of the many products we are accredited to supply and fit. We offer a wide range of products for both drivers and passengers who need assistance to remain mobile e.g. hand controls, swivel seats, boot hoists, person lifts, rooftop boxes, infra-red systems. We’re always happy to provide a ‘no-obligation’ demonstration if required. You can rest assured that if we think a product is not suitable for you/your vehicle, we’ll let you know and suggest alternatives which will better suit your needs. We can, if necessary, offer a ‘bespoke’ service to get round some of the more complex adaptations which may be required.
There’s ample parking at our workshop, should you wish to make an appointment to call in for a demonstration and discuss your needs. We have a demonstration vehicle fitted out with a range of adaptations/driving aids so that you can ‘try before you buy’.

We’re always happy to provide either individual or group demonstrations to those working with people in Scotland who have mobility needs e.g. Occupational Therapists, Social Workers as well as car dealerships participating in the Motability Car Scheme. We can bring along our demonstrator vehicle which is fitted out with hand controls, a swivel seat, boot hoist, person lift and rooftop box for wheelchair stowage.
